Do you want to stay in the heart of the city? Maybe the beach is more to your liking. Then again, you might want to venture a little further and stay at a Sydney accommodation in a quieter place outside of town. If you want to stay in the heart of Sydney, you can't get more central than the Central Business District. The marvelous thing about the CBD is that while you may be surrounded by skyscrapers one minute, you can be in a harborside cafe the next, watching sailboats glisten in the sun.
Close to the CBD, but a little quieter is the popular suburb of Paddington. Your Sydney Accommodation in Paddington may be a unique Bed and Breakfast or it may be a sumptuous hotel right on Oxford Street. Wherever it is, it will be close to Paddington's trendy fashion shops. If you are looking for a Sydney accommodation near the beach, you will adore Bondi Beach. Bondi is one of the most exciting places in Sydney. If it's a little too exciting for you, nearby Bronte Beach might suit you better. Going in the other direction, across the Sydney Harbour Bridge to the Northern suburbs, you won't have any trouble finding a place to stay. Again, your problem will be deciding which charming location to stay in. From the North Sydney CBD to the tip of the northern beaches, north Sydney is full of attractions. Manly Beach is the longest beach in Sydney and attracts as many beachgoers as its southern neighbor, Bondi. It doesn't seem as crowded here, because they are more spread out, but when you go looking for a cafe or restaurant, you'll find as many wonderful places to eat as you will in Bondi. There's a wonderful beach promenade in Manly, as well. Rent a bicycle and ride for hours!
For a real getaway feel or a romantic Sydney accommodation, the far northern beaches can't be beat. There's plenty to do and see in Western Sydney and accommodation is cheaper than it generally is in the city. Increasing numbers of tourists are heading for the Central Coast. Once a sleepy area that only came alive during the Christmas holidays, the Central Coast is now one of Sydneysiders' favorite year around holiday retreats.
