Darling Harbour: Darling Harbour is a buzz of eateries, shops, attractions and exhibitions. There are a large number of events centred around the harbour with the Sydney Exhibition and Conference hosting a large number of annual events and the harbour itself featuring events such as the annual Chinese dragon boat festival. There is a network of water channels and grassed areas which also offer excellent opportunities to relax.
Royal Botanic Gardens: Located in the heart of Sydney the Royal Botanic Gardens span 20 hectares of land and features a variety of gardens including the Pioneer Garden, Camellia Garden, Herb Garden and the Rare and Threatened Species Garden. The Gardens also offer spectacular views across to Sydeny Harour Opera House and Bridge. Government House: Located within the Royal Botanic Gardens Sydney’s Government House is open to the public and offers free guided tours Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
